FIPS

In certain cases, organizations implement FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) hardening on their servers and endpoints to meet regulatory and security requirements. However, this can sometimes lead to communication issues between the GYTPOL client and server, causing the client not to report back and appear in the dashboard. This issue may be indicated in the logs as demonstrated in the provided example. To address this, it's recommended to work with your IT team to carefully manage FIPS settings and ensure compatibility with GYTPOL communication requirements.

To resolve this issue, you can disable FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) via Group Policy or Local Policy on the affected server or endpoint. FIPS compliance can sometimes interfere with certain software, including GYTPOL, leading to communication problems.
