UI2 - Creating Computer Groups

  1. Go to Settings, then select Device Groups, and click on New.

  1. Provide the name for the group and, if necessary, include a description for the group:

  1. You can add devices to the group using any of the following options:

    1. Search for a specific device in the 'Device' filter drop-down.

    2. Scope devices based on existing (built-in) device group, Operating System, Domain, and/or OU.

    3. Import a CSV file.

An alternative option is to utilize our API to upload a list of computers in CSV format. For instructions on using this method, please consult this guide: API Connection Guide

  1. Once you have finished adding devices to the group, click on "Save".

Add a Label to a Group Without Selecting Devices

  1. Navigate to the "Device Groups" tab under the "Settings" section.

  2. Click the "New" button to create a new "Custom Group".

  3. Enter the group name (you may also add an optional description).

  4. Add criteria to the group by using the filter.

  5. Use the "Label" filter as an input to group your devices. While no options are available initially, you can manually type the desired label. This label will be used later for grouping, and any future devices with the same label will automatically be included in the group.
