Active Directory tab is empty / not updating

To verify the health status of the Active Directory security and misconfiguration pages, please follow these steps:

 

Ensure the scheduled tasks on the GYTPOL server are running successfully. Check the following tasks:

  • gytpolServer

  • gytpoServerDaily

  • gytpolServerWeekly

You can review the "History" tab for each of these tasks to confirm their successful execution.

 

Additionally, you have the option to run these tasks manually. While doing so, please ensure the following:

  • The tasks run for a short period of time without immediate failure.

  • During the runtime, monitor for the creation and subsequent deletion of files in the C:\gytpol\data\Output folder.

  • After the tasks have completed their run, verify the presence of files in the C:\gytpol\data\GpoCache folder.

 

Next, make sure that the user configured to run the tasks has proper permissions according to the installation guide

Once the tasks complete its run successfully, please make sure you see misconfigurations in the GYTPOL Dashboard in the ‘Active Directory’, ‘AD/GP Maintenance’, ‘CIS’ and ‘NIST’ panes.
