If you haven't yet prepared the server, please refer to the document provided here: System Requirements.

  1. Download the server and client Sensor files sent to you by the GYTPOL team and place them on the GYTPOL server you've created.

  2. Open the Local Group Policy Editor on the server by navigating to gpedit.msc:

    • Go to Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > User Rights Assignment.

  3. Ensure that the GYTPOL app user is part of the "Log on as a batch job" and "Log on as a service" privileges. If the GYTPOL app user is not included in these privileges, please add the user to both.

Before proceeding with the server installation, it's essential to install the GYTPOL client Sensor on the server. Follow the steps below:

  1. Extract the GYTPOL client Sensor zip file to a location on the server.

  2. Open an elevated Command Prompt (CMD) by running it as an Administrator.

  3. Navigate to the location where you extracted the GYTPOL client Sensor files using the 'cd' command. For example: cd path\to\extracted\GYTPOL-clientSensor

  4. Run the installation by executing the client Sensor MSI file.

  5. Allow the installation process to complete. Once finished, the progress window will disappear.
