Connecting GYTPOL to Active Directory

Please make sure your users has an email configured before connecting GKYTPOL to Active Directory

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to https://<gytpol-services-dns>:9093/admin
    Replace <gytpol-services-dns> with the DNS name of your GYTPOL services.

  2. Log In:

    • Use the following credentials:

      • Username: admin

      • Password: The password configured as USER_MANAGEMENT_ADMIN_PASSWORD during installation.

  3. After logging in, select User federation from the left-hand navigation pane and then select Add Ldap providers.

  4. In the next screen enter the Connection URL (in a ldap:// or ldaps:// format) and then click the Test Connection button.

  5. In Bind DN enter the DN of the identity that GYTPOL uses to authenticate itself to the Active Directory (AD) server when performing operations such as user searches or group lookups. enter its password in Bind credentials and click the Test authentication button

  6. In the LDAP searching and updating sectio:

    1. change the Edit mode to READ_ONLY

    2. enter the Users DN of the GYTPOL allowed users OU

    3. for Username LDAP attribute enter sAMAccountName

  7. Click save
